Autumn, a mosaic of them all...

Last week was divine with sunshine everyday, reading in my enchanting woods, strong winds blowing the leaves around, late night inspiration watching movies or reading by the fire, a brilliant dance party at my house Friday night, and painting and walks throughout the weekend.
Here you find me making lists of what to pack, where to go, and what to eat while in New York City. It feels amazing and surreal saying that I'll be there this weekend! My excitement is extreme and I cannot wait to be running around New York. Brooklyn Bridge, here I come!

Absolutely adoring St. Vincent, getting chills watching When Harry Left Hogwarts teaser (so excited!), looking forward to watching Midnight in Paris at home, and swooning over this cosy room.

[5 days]

5 days and I will be boarding the plane in a dreamlike state, dressed in my classiest clothes, with excitement mounting to arrive in New York City. The city of all cities. The city one only dreams about and reads about in VOGUE. How perfect and surreal that I'm going.
I cannot wait to run around the streets and go to divine restaurants and ride bikes through Soho and Greenwich Village and have a breakfast at Tiffany's and shop at Chanel and Marc Jacobs and buy a snowglobe of the skyline and view the city at night from the Empire State where it will look like a galaxy in itself.

Hope your week is wonderful, darlings!

October gave a party, the leaves by hundreds came...

Oh, Autumn, how I adore you.
My week was perfect with evenings reading Order of the Phoenix in my woods, eating delicious soups my mum made, and making my room cosy and warm with Autumnal decorations. And as for my weekend? Just as perfect. Bonfires with brilliant friends in my family's woods, Autumn festivals, and breathtaking Harvest moons.

Coffee in the morning, Weasley sweaters at night, golden leaves falling in a slow motion rain, and the trees slowly one by one becoming bare.
Saturday I journaled on a wool tartan blanket on a bed of fallen leaves in my woods. It was an utterly blissful experience. The words flowed easily and I made a list of things I love about Autumn, one of which was:
these crisp, exciting weekends. I don't know why, but there's something so perfect about them when you have  beautiful adventures among the golden scenery.

Autumn is a much too swift season, in my opinion. But, I suppose, that makes you appreciate and relish it even more.

Forever yours,
Tuney Potter

P.S.-Currently loving Alexa Chung, Kim NoordaScotch&Soda's beautiful clothes, late night inspiration, and St. Vincent's beautiful new album.
P.P.S.-
10 days until I'm bound for beautiful New York City for a whole glorious week. Beyond perfect in my mind!

New York Dreams...

In two weeks, just fourteen tiny days my sister and I will be boarding the plane with spine-tingling excitement.
We'll be landing in LaGuardia airport at 7:40 in the evening and I will be there
IN NEW YORK CITY!
How surreal and perfect is that?! It's such a dream. I am constantly dreaming of the trip:
Of sipping coffee in Soho and Greenwich Village while journaling and taking notes inspired by the city.
Riding taxis through downtown Manhattan and stopping at the Plaza for lunch.
Spending a whole glorious afternoon in Central Park enjoying the bliss of an Autumn in New York.
Taking thousands of photos at every turn.
Just walking around the city going from shop to shop (Chanel, Marc Jacobs, Zara, J. Crew!?! Yes please!) and trying my best to look sophisticated like everyone around me with their beautiful clothes I've only ever seen on the Sartorialist
And, something I'm looking forward to most of all: biking through the city. ♥ How perfect.
And last and absolutely not least, the most perfect of all:
we're going to see How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.
Oh.My.Lands! I get to see Dan. The ever brilliant Daniel Radcliffe. Harry Potter! In the flesh! Performing in front of me. It will be perfect.
♥♥♥
I cannot even handle that I'll be in Manhattan for a whole glorious, beautiful week, in October when the leaves in Central Park shall be golden!
Utter bliss.
My excitement is wonderful and I'm ticking off the days until we leave. ♥♥♥
Forever yours,
Tuney Potter

Autumn has seized the countryside...

These windy days and cold evenings walking among the Harvest stars in pyjamas with thick coats on top, painting by the much anticipated cosy fire while listening to Sufjan Stevens, the leaves looking so vibrant and beautiful and pumpkin-coloured as I romp through the countryside in Weasley sweaters, and a mug of hot cocoa in my hands as I stay up till the early morning hours with brilliant friends, including my dear Rilla
Autumn is truly magical and enchanting and I always forgot how much I adore it.
Hope your days are golden and sunny with warm fires in the evening. ♥♥♥
What have you been doing in celebration of Autumn?

Forever yours,
Tuney Potter

P.S.-Give this beautiful song Wood by Rostam Batmanglij a listen. It is wonderful for this season!
