"The last time we explored the lakeside park we also drove amidst the blue night but wearing beanies, hoodies, dark jeans and pale skin. And now comfortable and balmy in shorts and loose shirts, tanned and mellow, the occurrences between scattered and unpredictable, but us somehow still together. As we sprawled on the bench overlooking the lake, the orange streetlight halo glow lit up our faces and I wasn't even mad about the thick air causing my hair to fly wild because it somehow signified summer, which had united us together in the first place."
