Bonjour! Bonjour!

Bonjour!
My days have been bliss. Summer is swiftly drawing to a close and I am relishing every day reading for hours in the cool shadows, painting, and taking blissful walks through my utterly enchanting forest.
I've just started reading The Great Gatsby for the first time and am completely in love with Fitzgerald's penmanship. I'm already taken with his magical descriptions.
"We walked through a high hallway into a bright rosy-coloured space, fragilely bound into the house by French windows at either end. The windows were ajar and gleaming white against the fresh grass outside that seemed to grow a little way into the house. A breeze blew through the room, blew curtains in at one end and out the other like pale flags, twisting them up toward the frosted wedding-cake of the ceiling, and then rippled over the wine-coloured rug, making a shadow on it as wind does on the sea."
These next three photos are of yours truly, for the record and I do hope you enjoy them.
I paint because Beatrix Potter has inspired me since I was a child, I dream of living in Paris in a beautiful flat sitting above a fresh market selling those elegant baguettes one can only dream about, Pride and Prejudice is my favourite film because of its flawless beauty, one of the most mesmerizing things on earth is those shadows cast by trees, I must do something of artistic value every day, sometimes I enjoy listening to Alexandre Desplat's scores more than actual bands, and when I'm old I long to be classy living in New York City having elegant parties on the rooftop of the penthouse sipping champagne and admiring that sparkling view.
And darlings, I have the most spine-tingling news I could ever imagine.
♥♥♥I am going to New York City this Autumn.♥♥♥
What a dreamlike experience it shall be! I've longed to go there my whole life. I truly thought I'd never go until I was, in the least, graduated. But now, at the small age of fifteen I shall be there among those enchanting skyscrapers, by the sea, running from shop to shop, and trying my best to be sophisticated just like those people the Satorialist photographs.
One of the things I am most excited for in wonderful New York City is visiting Chanel (along with many others...Marc Jacobs, Chloe, Valentino anyone?) which I am quite positive will be gorgeous. I think just having watched Coco Before Chanel this week has enhanced my excitement to see those signature quilted bags even more.
And as for Central Park? Don't even get me started.

Cheers to you, darlings!
Now, as always, forever yours,
Tuney Potter
