These photos are some of my favorite Autumn/Winter photos by the Sartorialist. There are some days when I spend large chunks of time just browsing Scott's blog. Every photo tells some kind of hidden story that he leaves up to the imagination and because of this, Scott's work is great in my eyes. So here's to Scott Schuman - revolutionary street photographer extraordinaire!

October, November and December never fail. They are so thrilling with all the holidays and the good company that I sometimes get so happy inside about it all that it hurts. What I've really loved recently though is just chilling out at home, sipping tea in my sun drenched room and listening to Vampire Weekend on my record player.

A prime piece of Autumn are the long, cold nights full of wild shenanigans with friends, endless mugs of tea, and a chance to read before bed by the blessedly glowing fire. Yes, life is excellent.

During these brief weeks of Autumn, the colors of the leaves burn gold and fiery red in rapid double time and you must, must, must go outdoors every single day because these golden days are brief and these chilling nights are invigorating and meant to be savored alone OR with your bro's.

My friends and I wait for the Auburn fair all year long.  There, they sell pretzels that taste like heaven. The carnival lights are electrifying. And we run around till after sundown. This fair is a tradition that kick starts Autumn and its glorious golden days and chilling, haunted nights.
