Because the best way to spend your Saturday is skateboarding, cruising to Sleigh Bells and Wavves with the windows down, taking late night trips to McDonald's, and finishing with Seinfeld, popcorn, and talks till five in the morning. 

I long for the Summer days when stuff like this can happen all the time. But Summer is so close I can taste it and nearly grasp it. And that thought just takes my breath away.

And with every weekend full of skateboarding, continual dreams of Summer, new ideas and revelations, cruising to Wavves and Sleigh Bells, Seinfeld+Simpson's+80's movies, talks till 5 in the morning, and nothing but Cara Delevingne we are one step closer to Summer when these brilliant things happen everyday. Anything is possible in Summer and I know me and my crew will be travelling any chance we get.

Today I turned sixteen. I believe I've been waiting for this age all along. It seems to be a time for everything to come together and also a time to adventure. Maybe I just feel like I'm at a high point and ready for something ravishingly beautiful and exciting to happen. Regardless turning sixteen makes me officially feel like an 80's teen. 

And today in celebration I bought so many west coast clothes, rode on my skateboard till the stars came out with DOM and Surfer Blood blaring in my headphones, ate a perfect cake, and watched Sixteen Candles. 

Yes please.

My days have superbly consisted of hours of skateboarding, a sunset drive listening to DOM, successful thrifting, and an 80's movie late at night. I can honestly say everything looks a little perfect right now. Way to be wonderful, Spring bringing much needed energy and adventures with your arrival.

Lately I've been obsessed with rose-coloured hues. So obsessed that I am in fact seriously considering tipping my blonde hair in pink once June rolls around.

These days when the sun is dazzling, the sky is vibrantly blue, the birds sing, and I have nothing better to do than climb trees and lay in the grass while talking of anything and everything with brilliant companions does wonders to my spirits. This time of year is so re-energizing and it seems all too perfectly timed because I realize now that I needed this sort of awakening more than anything.

Sometimes all I need is to stay up till 4 in the morning journaling endless thoughts or sketching never ending ideas, then there are times when all I need is to stay up talking of the future and life in general till 4 in the morning, and then there are the occasions when all I need is to stay up till 4 in the morning playing Mario Kart and Halo with my crew. This seems to be my life in a nutshell and has been exactly what my days have consisted of. I've discovered how beautiful it is though, this diversity of activities as each one of them brings pleasure and satisfaction.
